Northwest Territories Provincial Nominee Program (NTNP) – Express Entry

    • What is Northwest Territories Provincial Nominee Program (NTNP) ?

The Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) is a Canadian immigration program aimed at attracting skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and professionals to contribute to the economy of the Northwest Territories. It allows the territory to nominate individuals for permanent residency in Canada through its three streams – the Employer Driven Stream, the Business Stream and the Francophone Stream. The program supports economic growth by selecting candidates who meet specific criteria and can contribute to the territory’s labor market and communities.

      • – The Employer Driven Stream – Thisstream caters to employers seeking to hire and nominate foreign nationals in cases where no Canadians or Canadian Permanent Residents are available. To apply through this stream, it is mandatory for you to have a valid job offer from an NWT employer.

      • – The Business Stream – The Business Stream is for foreign nationals who want to start a business in the NWT, purchase an existing business based here, or invest in and operate an existing business based here.

      • – The Francophone Stream – The Francophone Stream allows qualified foreign nationals, who speak both French and English and have a valid job offer from an NWT Employer, to apply to the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP). This stream is designed to increase the labour pool for bilingual workers within all National Occupational Classification skill levels (NOC skill level O, A, B, C & D).
